Overview
The creation of the Native App required an update to the web platform. Some tools were no longer being used and the aesthetic was significantly different from our new vision. This project included an updated dashboard, Relationship Advisor, Portrait, and the creation of the SureCoach.
Approach
We strategized around what we currently had and what the development team could effectively change in a meaningful manner. We brought the colors and gradients icons to the web app and followed a similar layout to what was on the native app. The responsive layout reflected almost exactly what we had designed for the mobile app.
The Web App Dashboard
Layout wize, the dashboard didn't change significantly, but we had to ensure the user would feel the same as they would on the mobile app. The colors were impactful and stunning, so we started there. We put more emphasis on the new SureCoach and SureAdvice as they are the two main tools we offer.
Relationship Advisor
Probably the bigest change to the design and layout of our platform was done on the old Relationship Advisor, now names SureAdvice. Advice and Insights were still given, but the content expanded beyond the previous design's ability. This page now reflects an expanded version of the SureAdvice tool on the mobile app.
SureCoach
The newest tool on the web platform, SureCoach's original design was constricted by the header and footer and users had a hard time reading everything. In this new design, the page became a full screen take over, removing the global nav and we fixe the user input box to the bottom of viewport. This opened the windo up and allowed a more comfortable experience.
